Jeremih Returns To No.1 With 'Don't Tell Em' on R&B, Rhythmic Charts
Jeremih is back on top with a fresh no.1 single on not one, but two coveted Billboard charts.
"Don't Tell Em'," the "Birthday Sex" and "Down On Me" singer's latest offering, ascends to the summit on both the Rhythmic Songs and R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts this week.
"Jeremih takes over atop Rhythmic Songs and R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay with "Don't Tell 'Em," featuring YG. The song, which interpolates Snap's "Rhythm Is a Dancer," a No. 5 Billboard Hot 100 hit in 1993, is his first No. 1 on the former chart since "Down on Me," featuring 50 Cent, topped for eight weeks in 2011. He'd last led the latter list with his debut hit "Birthday Sex" for two weeks in 2009; it led Rhythmic Songs for one frame," reports Billboard.
Jeremih's "Don't Tell Em'" is joined by new entries from Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz and Jennifer Hudson.
"Anaconda," Minaj's new single, is the week's greatest gainer on the Rhythmic chart, reaching no.13, while her collaboration with Trey Songz, on "Touchin, "Lovin," arrives at no.31.
Over on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay tally, Jennifer Hudson arrives at no.48 with "It's Your World" featuring R. Kelly.

Ray J leaving Fred Segal
Y’all know I’m not going to know what to do with myself on Monday nights when this season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta comes to an end. Sure, VH1 will have something just as dramatic, and catty, and horrific to slide right into its time slot, as if we won’t be mourning the loss of the Puerto Rican Princess andBenzino’s neck. I’m not buying what you’re selling, VH1.
Mona Scott Young tries to sell us on other franchises of the show, but nothing and no one can measure up to the scripted insanity that is Atlanta. New York City? Please! I’m yawning just thinking about it!  And what about Love & Hip Hop: L.A.? Is that even still happening?

According to TMZ, the folks on the Los Angeles start-up aren’t having the easiest time creating reality gold. I’m not sure why…after all, who wouldn’t want to watch Ray J in action
besides Kim Kardashian
The site claims that the show’s producers are pulling out all the stops in an attempt to bring some drama. Sources share that thus far, the characters have been boring and the story lines have been tame. That certainly won’t go over well, will it? In an effort to achieve some excitement, Soulja Boy has been added to the cast. Just for the record, I am not going to be able to get “Crank That” out of my head any time soon.

Ariana Grande's 'My Everything' Album: Early Projections Revealed

Ariana Grande's 'My Everything' Album: Early Projections Revealed
Ariana Grande could have a number one album next week thanks to "My Everything."
Released shortly after the MTV Video Music Awards, the album is already projected to move 150-200,000 copies first week.
Aided by a strong promotional campaign, including her performance at the VMAs, an upcoming performance on "America's Got Talent," promotion of the album and select songs via MTV, collaborations with artists like Jessie J, a Billboard cover, strategic social media roll outs and three top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, Grande's projected arrival at no.1 seems solidified and could even top projections.
According to HDD, Grande has already won with singles alone, garnering around 4.1 million in song sales with four no.1 charting iTunes songs, including 2.9 million for "Problem" (ft. Iggy Azalea) alone.
“The last album proved Ariana’s the female voice of her generation,” says manager Scooter Braun. “This album was about getting out of her comfort zone and really pushing herself musically.”
With contributions from Max Martin, Zedd, Ryan Tedder, Benny Blanco, and The Weeknd, Grande's "My Everything" shows just how diverse of an artist she is and can be.
"You can’t make a superstar. People don’t understand what you have to give, the work you have to do and how strong you have to be. Ariana has that strength. That’s why it’s working," says Scooter Braun.
